O.K last night a friend and I installed the tubi test pipes. All I can say is holy shhhit it almost feels like there was a leash holding the car back and now that leash is removed and the car response is amazing. The throttle response is better the horsepower is better the car breathes better getting the rpm’s up are smoother and the sound WOW the sound of a 360 with a tubi and test pipes is F1 like for real I don’t know what it sounds like from outside yet but going through a tunnel in 3rd gear sounds like a formula 1 car. IN the past I have heard people say that onCe they took off there stock muffler and replaced it with a tubi it sounds like a F1 car in my opinion that statement is untrue. I found the tubi to be weak until these test pipes were installed along with the exhaust.

I put a tubi exhaust on my 575 then added stebro straight pipes and altho I love the sound I question whether there is an increase in HP.With 515 HP on board I can't discern a few extra HP.
Would have been interesting to dyno your car before and after-
Is there any good data on performance after exhaust changes?

"I question whether there is an increase in HP" Agree. IMHO I believe the main benifits would be better throttle response and less heat in the engine bay. And sound of course if that's what your main intention was.

yes my main attention was on sound and yes the throtle response is great I now with a tubi install you are looking at 2 hp and with the pipes you are looking at another 8hp so now you have 10hp. this is what a friend dynoed his car at but even still 4,600 dollars and all you get is 10hp that sucks but who cares I put it on for the sound. My friend also put the ecu upgrade and it reves to 92 hundred rpms but I am affraid of doing that the piston could shoot up in to the head at that high of rpm's I guess I will wait untill headers come out. hopfully there will be other mods in the future. as for now I am waiting for the front challenge grills to come in next week then I will need to think of something else.

Great post!! :) I would like to install test pipes on my Stradale's stock exhaust system. Do you know if they are available for this car?

After hearing another member's tubi and test pipes on his 360, I told him he has the BEST sounding 360 around. I almost thought I was at the Speedway hearing the F-1 cars. I'm sure you are going to enjoy yours.

Great post by the way, I am tempted to install the test pipes for only the sound sensation. Keep us posted if check engine light come on! How about CS headers, or something similar. Are there anything in market for the 360?

    Whow...Interesting.

The CEL came on and "still stays on" in my 360M after installing the Tubi earlier this week....Don't know if it's coincidental or is it a normal occurence?

    Anythoughts, guys?

I've had my Tubi for sometime nowm and knock on wood, the only time I got the CEL is when I smogged the car and they did not put gas cap back on tightly. After, three or four drive cycles cleared the error.

    Hi Brad,

Some questions: are those the silenced or the nonsilenced test tubes?
what is the difference of the 2?
How long did the install take?
Any check engine lights so far?

    Thanks,
    Jon

How would you rate the sound volume difference between just tubi's and now the added test pipes? I'm looking for the same results but not interested in increasing the sound level by much (especially at idle) beyond what I currently have on my 550 with just rear tubi's.

    Thanks,

no they are just straight pipes the difference is that the silence ones look like small cats on the pipes these just look like pipes with holes in them for o2 sensors the other ones look a bit like pipes with high flow cats so the sound is not as loud with them as straight ones are

2 hours but thats with 2 guys my friend used to work for the dealer and said they would charge you for six hours when it only takes you 2

no lights as of yet but there is a lot of rumble when you let off on the gas very aggressive sounding
