Nope, ive seen used Tubi's with under 1000 miles go for $2000 many times... twice very recently.
My eyes are ALWAYS open wide for a good deal on a used one... this definitely isn't it! There is an f-chatter who offered me one 2 weeks ago for $2500, with 800 miles on it, I declined. I personally wouldn't even pay $1000 for one with 10K miles on it.

I agree, $2500 for used is a bit much.... Brand new in the box, maybe...

The original poster is a gentleman who is interested in my used 348 Tubi. I see he is looking for market advice.

    My price is $2500.

A new 348 Tubi from a dealer (not from Ebay) is well over $4,000 before tax. I know what I paid 4 years ago, and I know that prices have increased about 1.5 times since then.

Didnt mean to burst your bubble Dave... we all know the cost for a new Tubi. You're selling a USED part.
Its worth exactly what somebody is willing to pay for it.

Let me see if I understand your comment tho... if a new Tubi costs $4000 now, and they have gone up 1.5 times since you bought yours... that means that you're selling a 4 year old muffler with 10,000 miles on it, for the same amount that you paid for it new?? Good luck with that.

    Hi Steve, no problem.

Let me just clarify what I said. What I meant was that the tubi was just over $4,000 new back then before tax. Now they are around $5K plus. I have to check exact pricing but they are ridiculous now.

+1 http://www.naplesmotorsports.com/tubi_style_italy.htm --> here is an example. There may be a lot more sources.

So if the dealer is selling it for $5k plus then they are really making a good profit on it. :)

I think used tubis sell for around $2k. For $2.5k you can get a brand new X OST.
