    It depends......

I have a race tubi and have no excess noise or boominess in the cabin.

And outside, its pretty civil at normal revs but if you hit w.o.t. it is loud.
Of course the driver can control this with his right foot.

But I also have stock catalytic converters and the y-pipe bypass valve installed as well.

I tried this exhaust with test pipes replacing the stock cats and the challenge pipe (to replace the stock bypass valve......the stock y-pipe w/ metallic cats is retained) AND ITS UNCIVILY LOUD AND WILL ATTRACT THE COPS.

So it depends on how you set up your car.

I prefer the car emission legal and civil.

I had a level 3 tubi (rumore/race spec) decatted and was dissapointed with the noise. It wasnt massively loud, but very boomy in the cabin.
Capristo is just a different league for sound quality, and no drone in the cabin at motorway speeds. Level 3 Capristo is massively louder than a level 3 tubi i might add.

The answer to your question is 'defect time'.

It is really loud so you are better off putting an aftermarket muffler on.

I have a second hand mille miglia for sale if you want it that will do want you want but without the attraction.

    PM if you want it.
