360 spider delivered yesterday. Still pinching myself! I've been enjoying this site and reading up on exhaust valves. Car has a Tubi. I asked the service manager at Ferrari what he thought about unplugging the solenoids to leave valves open. He said that as the car has a Tubi the valves are already open??? I think he just wanted to get me off the phone! I'm not looking for my children to have to wear headphones around the car but would like more low end howl. What's up guys?

I had the valves open before I installed the Tubi. I thought the sound was a little annoying. Not to loud, just a weird drone that I eventually put back and then put on the Tubi. The check engine light often went on with the valves open too. Congrats on the new toy.

I'm interested in making my Tubi louder as well. I'm not sure if the valves are open or not, would like to see some pics as well...

The service manager was correct, the Tubi has no valves.

I can confirm as both my former 360 and current 430 gave Tubi exhausts....no valves.

IF you have Tubi tips, not just the can, it does not have valves. You could have the Tubi muffler but stock tips. If that is true you may or may not have the valves fixed open. Pictures of the tips and we can probably give better advice.
