I would imagine the TCU would need to be sent out and the ECU remotely Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
Good morning all ... just to clarify for you folks that would like to understand the process. The ECU's must be removed from the car and 'bench tuned' Trev and Sam create custom tunes for each car based on the performance modification's made to the car, they then send the new new ECU map to the 'provider' (in my case PFAFF Tuning) The provider then updates the remap on the ECU on the 'bench' and then re-installs the ECU's and voila ... done !! I know all of this as I am the one that introduced and brought 360trev to Canada, Trev now deals directly with PFAFF Tuning here in Toronto So oc23, yes should find a provider near you that has a relationship with 360trev and they will do it for you, otherwise you will have to have remove them either by a shop or yourself and send them to a 360trev tuning provider. I hope this helps Cheers Steve
Let me clarify ..TCU must be sent and then a PC is sent to your home to flash the ECU .. I believe that is how it is being done from some of the people I help Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
Getting mine done this week with Sam. Can’t wait to get it all back together and go for a ride. For some reason, the TCU clamp on my passenger side was very loose and the nuts were halfway off. The previous 2 owners were not “mod” people so I don’t think anything was tuned and there is zero paperwork from the all the service history I have that shows it would have been removed.
All, Just had the ECUs of my 03 360 Spyder 3 pedal reflashed by Sam, and Trev. I must say totally transformed the driving characteristics of the car. No hassle start up, perfect throttle response, pulls like a freight train. If you don't have this mod you are missing out, this is now a great car to drive! My 21 Evora GT needs to have this mod to make it as enjoyable to drive as the 360. Process was totally fault free, pull out your ECUs, plug in using the tools supplied by Sam, and away you go. Sam handles all the technical stuff, Trev makes the file mods, couldn't be easier. Just do it. Jeff
You have to go into a bathroom, shut the door and turn off the light. Stand in front of the mirror, spin around 3 times each time saying out loud 'Ferrari Tune' and on the third time he will appear in the mirror.
Thank you all for your patience. I am currently working hard on the software technology to allow you all to personalize everything to your hearts desire. This will be game changing. In the meantime please reach out to member sammyf on here who can assist you while I am pre-disposed. Many Thanks, Trevor
My TCU is on its way home from being flashed. ECUs to follow. Look forward to experiencing what I’ve read so much about.
Ahhhhh Trev, your swiss army knife project has been in the making for over 5 years. It's seem like all show and no go.....promises, promises. Sick of hearing about it....just get it out man! ....come on!!!... 5 years!!!
Just because you've not seen anything doesn't mean it doesn't 'exist'. Many many happy Ferrari owners are testament to that I just use my tools from my own shell environment today but the GUI is coming on leaps and bounds. Image Unavailable, Please Login Analyzing MED9 Ferrari firmware 'automatically' using Ai-Assisted technologies I actually have spent thousands of man hours of work on this now and took it in an entirely different path. I added support for MED9 and MED17, implemented advanced Ai capabilities which dramatically improve ability to automatically analyze firmware and model everything. Also been doing much more in the way of custom firmware development so it can do a lot more capabilities than a standard Bosch affords out of the box. The "end user" version of what I use myself is called Calibration Studio, its a multi-platform (Windows, Apple and Mobile) software which will be launched in 2024 at some point to be determined, as soon as I can get the time to finish it to a point that I am happy for people to use it. There are different 'user roles' or views depending on if your level of knowledge, if just want to adjust settings yourself 'in real time' like AFRs or analyze sensor outputs as a more advanced user or if you just wish to bolt in upgrade parts like air flow meters, throttle bodies, fuel injectors and so forth. Image Unavailable, Please Login This UI editing suite is just icing on the cake really as it allow people to tailor their car themselves without any intervention from 3rd parties. I will try to get a more advanced version ready first so that tuners can begin to use it to 'live tune' on the dyno ( even on MED7 ) before I trickle it down to end customers with a full eco system to allow them to choose what they want. I don't really want to do the tuning myself for every model and at some point I will invite others in to use software so they can take advantage of all the custom features. It in effect makes Bosch Motronic feel exactly like an aftermarket engine management system with the added advantage that all the stuff in the car just 'works' and you don't loose anything that the manufacturer did in the way of base calibration.
Yadda, Yadda, Yadda.....still not available. Just saying......I've been hearing about it for 5+ years and you mention it all the time. For over 5 years later ....still no "Swiss army knife" LOL
I use it every day Didn't expect to get a reasonable answer out of you. You've always been deeply negative towards my stuff, despite so much positive feedback, every single post you've ever made is negative which makes me think you've got a grudge, your not one of those bad tuners are you that I keep having to fix broken cars for? Anyway, Whatever...
I think you're paranoid. Just busting your chops. Don't take it too seriously. Want to see the Swiss army knife .....I may need it.
Just want to say, I have your tune on my F430. It was done at AV engineering. I am not interested in dyno print outs for willy waving, I am only interested in performance. I push all of my cars hard (just ask Aldous) lol. I also use a dragy device to log the performance of my cars. I have also drag raced my car over a mile on a runway at multiple events. I wasn't expecting much being an NA car. well.... It has completely transformed the car. Best money I have spent on it in fact. I have also raced it against cars that I previously lost to at events and on the road, and won since the tune. The difference in low down torque is crazy, yet still delivers it perfectly. Thank you.
Trev, you are the BEST ... Thank you for all the YEARS of R&D and work that you have done to make our cars SO MUCH BETTER !! And ... thank you for taking all that time to work with me, and the team at PFAFF to bring the software to Canada From all those that are running your updated software and are now getting the absolute best out of their cars .... Merry X-Mas Trev !! Sincerely Steve
