I called him but he explained that Trevor was no longer really available and that it was becoming difficult for him to commit.
Update: New Version of Tune Installed Sam (Trev's partner in the US) contacted me a couple of weeks ago to let me know that he had an update to my previously installed tune (for $0). I installed the ECU update yesterday. I was happy before; I'm very happy now! The rear tires (warm) were actually breaking loose with a sporty, but smooth 2nd gear pull with normal traction control (Sport Mode-off). The midrange revs are little more reserved in acceleration, but still strong (probably just perception due to the increase of power delivery on the bottom?) I have no regrets with the tune, and Trev and Sam are great to work with. Thanks for the update! FYI- This time, I didn't remove the ECUs, only the side panels. That was a big time saver.
Hello i'm going to do the update TCU+ECU with Sam. Can you tell me if the button (and the function) LOW GRIP still working after the update? Let me know please
I have a gated car. I only have a Sport mode button (which does offer less intrusive traction control, and other changes). It functions normally after the programming. I know the F1 is a different animal, software wise. I would message Sam or Trevor for the most accurate answer.
