Well, judging by the other 'racing' movies that have come out in the last few years, this one looks to be the best of them all. Sad, how the best racing movies of all time are 40+ years old, but that's what politics, money, ego and business will do to you...
I spoke with a few friends and they stated they would not take their children to see this movie. Their feelings are similar to mine. They don't want "feel good" stuff. They want hard core racing as it was. We will see how many take their kids to this.
It seems people are getting tired of others trying to force feed them something they don't want. In my opinion.......I think people are slowly waking up. Recent changes in NASCAR seem to have lit a fire under them and people want differences and things to cheer for. You know like... Cars that look like a Ford vs a Chevy vs a Toyota. A good thing I think. Maybe better things in the future.
