It could be done. Compound supercharging has been done before. It will still be a thorn in the side of those hating the sound.
But what I don't get is this. If one implements two 100 hp electric motors to drive a set of turbine driven compressors. Why not just bolt that electric source directly to the crank, as is done on the P1? Instant torque, no lag and a much simpler system.

I asked the same thing earlier, but feedback pointed to unacceptable weight increases of the batteries.

think of what happens when the a/c activates in your car... the event can be felt ...

the same sort of thing would happen when there is a call for more power from a generator... the load is increased as the generator is asked to produce more, sapping energy that can go to drive the car...

exhaust gasses are waste, there is no further use, which is why they can be diverted to turbos

A capacitor and or small battery take the load. they are regened from wasted power like braking or the motor not under load. Modern BMWs already operate their alternators like this.

That video has my favorite soundtrack. That motor is what all NA V12s need to be based on. Simply put it is pure Ferrari. I am very lucky to have one with well more than twice that power in the F12 with a crazy torque curve. Totally ballistic, unending acceleration. Huge intake gulp, 8700 RPM redline, sound to die for. Massively beautiful 6.3L with 13.5:1 compression. And the battery just runs the lights as it should.

No silly electric motors/batteries/belts/pulleys/coolers/plumbing/compressors/turbines/puny motors and the lower reliability, high heat, increased weight, and impotent noise associated with them. So, yeah, I would go with the NA motor. Forget the rest of the science experiments old or new.
