What better way to celebrate three decades (yes I know) on God's green earth than to view it from 10k feet above. I'd like to do this locally and wanted to know if any of my fellow F-Chatters have been fortunate enough to experience this. If anyone could point me towards a reputable company I'd be forever thankful.

    Regards,
    Shaun

Congratulations on turning 30! I passed that milestone a couple years ago and just turned 34! I went skydiving a few years ago with these guys (www.skydivesnohomish.com/) and couldn't say enough good things about them. Very professional and fun to be with. I paid extra to go up another 2,000 ft and it was well worth it! :D

    Congrats on the big THREE-OH.

This coming Sunday the 29th I turn the clock on the ancient FOUR-OH.
Not going skydiving, but going to get drunk. My plan sounds easier.

I still remember what my old basic training drill sergent told us when one of the guys in the platoon said he wanted to go to airborne jump school. "there are only two things that fall out of the sky, Bird poop and fools". I found out later that helicopters did a pretty good job of it too.

Anyhow congratulatons in turning the big 30 that makes you almost half way to my age. And enjoy the the jump.

Thanks all! Should I work up the nerve I will post pictures and perhaps a video of my adventure which is still 30 + days out.

pay up for as high as they will take you -- it is all about the free fall

I did the snohomish route, tandem jump, 12000 feet to 2000 feet free fall in 60 seconds if I recall correctly.

    good luck!
