Turn signal buttons on fender, behind the headlights.
What height/lateral distance should they be in reference to whatever you can find to be able to apply correct positioning, as I have two different locations L & R, so I am confused about the proper location.
Or, not an issue, as for the usual factory dimensional differences?
My guess, is that one reference might be the door gap at the fender, the other I will leave to you, fertile minds.

I am talking about 1/2"-3/4" or so one way or the other, is this too anal?

    Thank you.
    Regards, Alberto

Alberto, next wednesday I will go to my garage and I can check the distance to the door gap on both sides or any other reference.

Most I have seen look like they are positioned at the same height as the headlamp bulb center. I am not sure about front to rear location or dimension.

    Cheers,

    Greetings Alberto,
Here are two pics of my Dino for a visual on the placement of the lights. I'll measure after the sun comes up & get back with you in less than ten hours with reasonably accurate specs. As you may recall, mine is a Tipo E Euro car. The lights appear to be in nearly the same spot on each side. The lateral and height look close, seemingly mid-point between the fender opening and the headlight scallop, and perhaps just below the headlamp bulb center. Pretty good memory there, Tom!
It'll be interesting to see what others come up with. No guarantees on symmetry! After all, they are Dinos!
    Later,
    Coop

    Thank you Simon,
The photos in the vertical, are they from the ground? I have no ground, as no wheels, tires, etc. and up in the air....
    Regards, Alberto

    Alberto,
I finally measured my lights...sorry for the delay...and they are as I mentioned in my first post: "Mid-point between the fender opening and the headlight scallop, and perhaps just below the headlamp bulb center." It's a toss up on the actual height: We're talking maybe 8-10mm below the bulb center. Precise measurements will likely have limited value as each car is unique. I'd be inclined to go with the 'That Looks About Right' approach for yours, and use specific measurements only to weight your decision. Unless you can determine, from photos or factual documents or knowledge of a previous/original owner, the exact location, configuration, shape or size of any feature or component of your serial numbered car, TLAR will probably get you pretty darn close. It helps if we think of each of these little jewels as a work of art, not a cookie-cutter clone.
You are doing an awesome job of resuscitating your Dino, Alberto. Please continue to enjoy the process; we are!
    Cheers,
    Coop

Thanks Coop, TLAR, is extremely applicable in a car like a Dino, besides, you can only see one fender at a time...
At least we are out of the ECU, and have finally moved into a normal room. Still in the hospital though!

Qatar looks just like El Salvador! At least I know the sun shines 365 x year!
Thank you for the pix, they do help.
    Conclusion:
Anywhere Giovanni poked them is ok.

    Regards, Alberto

PS I have a NOS fender/headlight part, L series, no blinker hole...
