Driving 2024 296 GTS with 204 miles. I'm getting same message. As soon as I press the accelerator with secondary level force, it immediately comes on. This is after driving for a while bringing engine to temperature.
As per previous messages - was told to keep driving and not worry about it … haven’t seen it since the one and only time back in February…
It's been coming up again, along with "Warning! Limited performance to the engine", "Engine control system failure. Go to dealer", "Manettino Failure", and E-Diff lights. Car has 270mi on it. Got delivered Saturday 5/7. First new Ferrari - disappointed, to say the least.
First off, congrats on your new 296. I wouldn't let that ruin the first Ferrari experience. All of these will be sorted out by the dealer. Most likely needs a software update or maybe battery related fixes. Mechanically the car is sound. Everything will get sorted out.
Just got these myself, however not after hard driving, after dropping off my daughter at preschool three miles away(only got on it once) then sitting in the garage(it’s climate controlled at 68-70 degrees) and it sat for two hours before I got it pulling it out of the garage for lunch. Having owned a BMW e60 M5 and the V10 I am also very familiar territory. the infamous dashboard lights. Should be like the good old days. lol
Figured I'd post because I had this problem and it has been resolved. For me the problem happened generally under fairly hard (but not 100%) acceleration. The actual fault lay with a hose which would leak under pressure causing an imbalance of turbo pressure. The car would know there was a fault but turning it off and on again would clear it until the next leak occurred. It required a new hose and a few hours of work under warranty. The car is noticeably quicker after the fix.
