Hi All-
I was in the 2005 Grigio Alloy F430. I stopped by to admire the 355s (and 348). Wish I had thought to introduce myself.

My kids and I were commenting on the light Ferrari turnout (particularly modern). Not sure how to address that. The Lamborghini owners always seem a lot more unified than Ferrari, and it seems to drive a pretty high turnout for them.

They had basically cars and coffee in the morning with coffee and pastries.a nice little rally with a police escort and free admission into the event.

Ferrari of New England is a good idea. I guess we need a connection there. And, as far as modern Ferraris go, they could probably fill that gap with some of their own cars.

I’m not really familiar with FCA in this area. Anyone belong? Any chance we could organize something with them next year to boost turnout?

I would love to see more events at the newport Car Museum, maybe Italiano day ? I'm sure the museum would give discount on admission that day

Typically there are more Ferraris overall than Lamborghinis at the event. I’m guessing the questionable forecast had a lot to do with a light Ferrari turnout.

A FNE rally to the event is a great idea, though.

 

Nice pictures, sorry I missed the gathering. I started attending back in early 2000's with my 330 GT 2+2 and later 365GTC4. The Ferrari turnout on the bottom, then the top of the hill was always impressive. Lots of partying too.. Vintage owners no longer seem to be attending in large numbers, perhaps because of word from insurance companies that their cars are to valuable to drive. I would have been there but a wiring problem knocked out a cylinder or two which could not be fixed in time. Maybe next year.

FoNe does a rally to the Dream Cruise in CT. But they ended their C and C circa 2020

 

They have revived it, apparently doing two this year. I went to the one they had earlier this year. Here is the next one -
