FYI, I just finished typing up the rally route for this Saturday. 85 miles, departing from KTR and finishing at the intersection of I-84 and the Pike. Should make for a fun couple of hours. Only minor portions of it are off-road. :)

It will be a (slightly) competitive rally, with trivia questions and questions regarding things passed along the route. Plaques will be awarded at the cocktail party at FoNE that evening.

Remember, this is FREE, as is the tour and free lunch at KTR on Saturday to all registered Tutto participants! We've got 40+ cars registered for the rally, and will likely end up with 50+ cars roaming the central Mass. countryside.

    Come and have some fun!

    vty,

Can someone esplain to me what is going on saturday? What time does the rally take place vs. doody's suggested meet and possible lunch? Do they conflict? Lunch and ride sound fun if things work out. Throw me a bone here.

As I've been pinged privately by a couple of people, just thought I'd clarify.

The tour & lunch at KTR and the rally are FREE and OPEN to all REGISTERED TUTTO PARTICIPANTS. In other words, if you've registered to show your car on Sunday, you're cordially invited to come and have some fun.

If you DON'T HAVE an Italian car, well, it's up to you. I suspect that the gentlemen at KTR would welcome all enthusiasts and love to give you a tour, so the more the merrier. As for the rally, one could always tag along, like the runners in the Boston Marathon without numbers.

But since this is a fund raiser for a great charity (the Larz Anderson Auto Museum), might I suggest that those of you without Italian cars, but still want to join in on the fun, to please make an equivalent donation to the museum? It's $30 to register for the show, so I think it would be a classy thing to do to just donate $30 (and, ahem, register your, uh, "Italian car" for the show). After all, for $30, you get lunch, to drive on a rally, a free cocktail party at FoNE, and the free admission to the show (which is $5 or $7 anyway). Small price to pay, IMHO.

    vty,
