Very nice, such an elegant car. I've never seen rear screen wipers on a '60's GT before, wonder if they were built into the car or added later? Ditto the passenger seat headrest.
Yes it got me wondering,so here it is: "Special Bodies In addition to the standard Touring version, several special bodied 3500 GTs were produced on the long wheelbase frame. One of these (chassis 1502) was a four-headlight fastback manufactured by Touring. However, it was no match for the elegant original. Allemano, once Maserati’s first choice coachbuilder, clothed two 3500s with Coupe bodywork (chassis 008 and 122). 008 was displayed alongside the prototype Touring example at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1957. Allemano’s 3500 GTs followed broadly similar lines to the standard version, albeit with a reworked cockpit profile, full width front grille and wraparound overrider bumpers. Allemano’s initial proposal featured a number of interesting details, perhaps most notably twin wipers for the rear windscreen. However, the overall design was a little heavy handed and generally not as well resolved as Touring’s effort." Near the end of this: https://supercarnostalgia.com/blog/maserati-3500-gt

Just was in the mag/book store in Tampa airport and saw "Heat 2" - Checked and Michael Mann says there will be a movie Reading the back of the book apparently it bounces between day after Heat with Chris getting out of town etc and pre-Heat delving into the DeNiro and Pacino characters more deeply. Sequels to awesome movies generally suck but it has promise with Mann at the helm. Shall see
That’s sounds promising, I’m waiting for the next Sherlock Holmes flick in the guy Richie series, I can’t tire of them, the detail in his movies is fabulous
