Thanks to Gran Turismo 4, I have been introduced to the TVR Speed 12. It seems like an awfully cool car!

My question is; is it a concept car, or were any actually delivered to customers? If they were produced, when did they start, and are they still produced? How much when new, how much now?

What a shame that they didn't build any.

My agent in England has a Griffith and is a complete TVR boffin. He says the Speed 12 engine is a grenade, a 5000 mile engine at best. Terrible design. They built 6 of them and the factory has taken them all back but one, which belongs to Jamiroquai's lead singer who is also a TVR boffin.

Looks like it has the body lines of a Viper with a ground effects kit added. Nice and aggresive looking!

Amazing car, but whoever put that tiberon-on-crack body on it needs to do the world a favor and just end it. Will me the car first and I'll even provide the ammunition.

If only one was made then why do they have all the colors in GT4 and GT3?

The same colors that are offered for the Speed 12 in GT4 are also offered for the Tuscan. So it might be that Sony just decided to have the same colors for the Tuscan and the Speed 12. Its just a guess, I dont really know.

If I remember correctly, it was a beast in GT3. Really unplayable.
