Private owner, with his family lost yesterday, leaving Luton (bedfordshire) to Dublin ,S.Ireland Now,that is a relatively long stretch, across the UK,over the highlands of N.Wales, over the Irish sea,and on to Dublin. Mixed weather reports, but the wreckage found in a remote welsh area,I know that if you are fortunate enough to own your personal machine,It does not always mean that it is the best,or only form of transport. The family lived close to Luton, and the party was arranged in Dublin. Eassyjet,Ryan,BA,Lingus all do that route. My gut feeling was to use the chopper on that occaision, was pushing the envelope. Awaiting further AAIB/CAA info, but what do you think?.
