motor hot tuner autumn 05 is out. a writer from wheels and motor has driven the car and gives his opinion on our 355tt
Thanks for the news, just went out and bought it - can't wait to read it (there are some other nice articles in there too)
why would a person chuck TWO turbo's into a perfectly good F355 berlinetta? isnt its v8 enough? i have heard it, and it definately doesnt sound like a ferrari's V8 should! am i alone with this view on the subject?
wat do u mean, enough is enough?! THEY SHOULDNT GO FURTHER THAN A TUBI EXHAUST! i dont understand why someone could buy such a machine, and just act like its a skyline piece of crap. If ferrari wanted it to be a turboed V8 then they would have put it in themselves, which they did with what i believe is the second most best supercar, The Twin Turbo'd V8 F40!
don't forget the 288GTO - it also had a TT V8 I do understand what you are saying and personally I wouldn't do it to my F355 if I owned one - but, in the end everyone has different opinions/idea's on these things and for this guy the standard car wasn't fast enough so he did something about it I guess
Help! I googled Motor Hot Tuner (?) for coverage of this twin turbo and I can't find it. Anybody have a link? Thank you.
'Motor - Hot Tuner' is an Australian magazine so I doubt you will find anything online......I will be scanning it (as I do with all interesting articles to store on my PC) so we might be able to sort something out
i posted the write-ups in Word format in the F355TT now in US/EU in the Modern (355/456/550 & Later) section. I don't have scans though. As far as modifying even Ferrari's, there are those who do want to have the best performance available, the fastest car, highest laterla G's, etc. So why not modify the Ferrari. Yes, it is a Ferrari and is an outstanding car, but it is still a car that can be improved upon by the aftermarket, as we see here.
Its only a 355 its not as though it is a 250gto, 300sl et al there are tons of them. Its his money and his car
I have scanned the article in Motor Hot Tuner so those of you who can't get it then let me know and I'll get them to you
Yes, ok, i agree, more power is a definate yes, but can we leave it up to Ferrari to make the changes needed. Please, am i the only person here that can see the beauty in a stock Ferrari. The F355 being a personal favourite of mine, may be the reason why i am against this subject.
what i cant stand is when they make it into a drag car?? ahhhh well maybe it is my love for the car talking aswell but i doubt it...
