Good catch Marco, we are lucky to have "eyes" all over the world.
I believe the gold one seems to be a model 400, based on the 4 tail lamps instead of 6, color looks great.

    Errr guy's......if it's an auto and 4 tail lights,it's a 400.
The 365's were ALL manual, and all 6 tail lights.

Were not the very last 365's 4 taillight? I seem to recall that a member on here (JudgeFerrari??) has one. Certainly all manual.

Wasn't there 6 examples of the 365 GT4 2+2 Automatic delivered from factory in its last living years ? Believe I read that somewhere... Typical Ferrari, when you think you got the models right there's always one or two (or six) one-offs in the shadows :)

This has been discussed previously, either you're right or there were some early 400's with 6....either/or..!

    What ??
    Never heard about that !

    Any proof ? Text ?

The all 365 with 4 tail lights I know are non original rears

And the dozen of 365 that have VINs after the first 400 built, have 6 lights when the first 400 have 4.

I think You mean "judge4re". He has a red 365 GT4 (18759) with 4 rear lights. Supposedly original

Yep, that is the guy I was thinking of - been a while since I have seen him post.

Not claiming to know anything, just adding what I have seen over the years.

    I do apologize ! These are two 400, not 365... I don't know why I've said 365... Particularly bad, as I'm a 365 owner 😀
    Sorry for the confusion

In Tom Yang's website, under Owner's Gallery, scroll 2/3 down the page until you see Erik Nielsen's 365 GT/4 2+2. Unfortunately, one cannot simply copy and paste the actual link to the listing for the car, but the owner indicates his being the only 4 taillight 365 around, so what I did was to upload the pics and the content below:

    Tom Yang's Ferrari Restoration

365 GT4 2+2 S/N 18759 (November 1975 production). Red Sir Ivor/Tan. Sold new in January 1976 in Venice, Italy. Imported into US via Miami 1984. EPA grandfathered. DOT releases. Car was resprayed and new exhaust installed (ANSA replacement).
Sold in 1990 into Bristol Virginia. Purchased by an Oak Ridge, TN doctor in 1994 who traded it in on an F355 Berlinetta at Ferrari of Atlanta in June 1997.

I purchased it in November 1997 with 51k miles on it. I used it as a daily driver for several months and then got paranoid about parking it on the street, so it only gets played with on weekends. Currently has 57k miles on it.

The car is the only GT4 that has an original 4 tail light configuration. Keith Bluemel has agreed to bug Pininfarina to find out if they have any documentation on this.
I've done minor maintenance on it up to this point, but planning on starting a complete valve job in the very near future. The clutch will be replaced at this time as well (plus the obligatory major service).

Even though I've judged at FCA national meets and the Cavallino Classic, this car will never be more than a driver for me. I am looking for a 308 GTSi for my better half this year and a 250 GTE Series I for me to keep it company in the garage.

Another 4 tail light 365 found in Erwin's blogspot out of Hungary, but it also has a 400 front, so it may be possible that it went under the knife after leaving the gates of Maranello...

    Ferrari 400: Citroën Pásztor Classic #32 - Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 - Hungary

And lest not forget the chopped 365 already discussed here previously that's been around on eBay for a while, which also has 400 front and rear...

Again, these appear to vary from the preceding post in that they seem custom jobs, but ultimately do have in common being 365's with later 400 parts!
