    No, both cars were pieces of crap.
    I think they actually sold for more than they were worth.

    How much is a Boxer windshield arm? It was missing on one car.

    The other car was actually leaking oil on stage.

    i would have taken them , one or the other and kept it / gradually repaired it. notice it did not say "restored" as i could care less about car show numbers nit-picky crap. just drive the damn cars, thats why they exsist. we hand fab parts for aircraft, ( with blueprint / documentation) a "mere" car would be a joy if one shares the passion. the time and money are secondary to the thrill of the hunt and the knowledgle garnered . i would rather have a beater to take apart and learn on, then buy one for top dollar and not have a clue how to work on it. i learned so much from my beater Marrone 308gts. the 77GTB i have now is more enjoyable because of it. same it will be when i get a 12cyl fcar.
