Engine number two is 2010 with only 2.800 miles! This is without any damage to the wiring and also comes with the alternator/generator. USD 32.000! This can not be expencive for a "new" 599 engine... Put this engine in a open cowled street rod or bucket-T, with high visibility! I will be attending the N.S.R.A. (National Street Rod Association ), Midwest Street Rod Nationals in Springfield Missouri over the Memorial day week end (over 3000 cars, people from over 40 states). This beautiful 599 motor, would be a shop stopper! Would think both engines will be bought quickly.
Hi Ferrarisun. The engines are in Europe... If I had a Learjet with a cargoroom, I would get them there!! 😎😉
Do you have any other parts? I'd like to find the R (reverse) button in good condition. I would take the entire F1 console piece. Thanks.
Hi Juan!! You read my thoughts! I actually know the chief mechanic of that race boat team, as he is living half an houre from me. This was the Spirit of Norway Class1 Racing team who won Class1 several years back in the early 2 thousands. for those who like sound.... There is no comparison to these boats! They had no mufflers at all. Just a 2 Ft dry pipe out from the Tubi headers... @ 8.000 rpm on the 8,2 liter Lambo V12s. Two engines in stereo synchronized was heaven. Have a look at this link from here in Norway with Matt Alcone from USA, against the Spirit of Norway team: https://youtu.be/CFkbfixP-lc
Hi Shahz. One car was damaged at the rear end. The other one had a small fire in the engine compartment. Both cars were written off by the insurance company to protect them from problems with the cars later. All parts are put in a climate controlled ware house. These engines are almost like brand new!
I just took measurements, and the engine is too long for my '32 Roadster. The car started life with a Ford V8 Flat Head, then a Hemi, and know it has a 64 327 Corvette engine. 12 cylinders would be THE penultimate upgrade, and would be nice net to my 575M. Too bad it won't fit my application. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Who is ready for the engine(s)? Could be the ultimate cocktail table or power something really fast! Still availible. Make a reasonable offer!!!
