I bet the BAR fans all bowed down after the race ... "We are not worthy".

Something to that effect happened to me when I went to the F1 race at Indy in 2003. It was Friday during practice and I was in my Schumi regalia and descended into the stands opposite the pits and landed up in the midst of Montoya supporters - It was a sea of yellow/magenta/whatever everywhere and poor old me in my Schumi cap and red shirt .... but it was fun anyway ...

The crowd was quite partisan as you can imagine ... jumping up for joy when Montoya went past and booing when Schumi went past.

But all this died down during the actual race after Monty went backwards after bumping into Rubens and then the other incidents ... the Monty fans were quiet. Of course there were thousands of Ferrari fans to provide enough sound ... :)

So anyone still want to dispute the fact that Sato is HONDA's poster boy and nothing more than a marketing gimick. It is easy to buy a racing seat given the right amount of money. Too bad Honda can't buy their poster boy a win.
