I went to the first of these in 2012 and the second of these in 2013. Depending on which coast you're on, they're both very worthwhile. WW2 Air Show | Virginia Beach, VA Paine Field Aviation Day | Paine Field, WA - Official Website (If you go to the second one, you may run into Bob Parks!)
This is the week. If you love WW II warbirds and are within reach of either Virginia Beach or Everett, go! You're likely to see such rare types in the air as a Mosquito, an Me 262, a Shturmovik, and an Fw 190 (among others)!
I wasn't up to attending the Paine Field show but I could see the DC-3 and B-25 rumbling by. I'm glad that the weather held for them because that is a really nice display.
