    Today I had the opportunity to meet one of our own out of state Testarossa board members "Brad Williams" Kurt and his girlie Allison.

    He had come down from Chicago and called me to get together. He came by my home in Lakeland FL. and we took the Lamborghini out to Winghouse for lunch.

    We had some fun, talked cars....Testarossa values, yeah who isn't these days and everything Ferrari.

    Before we got there, we took a back road and did some acceleration runs in the Lamborghini. 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and with the top down of course. Just for our northern members.......it was 76 DEGREES TODAY!

    Our lunch was interrupted by the WH manager wanting some photos for his young nephew. So all of us went outside and pulled some WH hotties with us. Oh well, photo shoot down and what was nice was that he comped my lunch and 10% off Kurt and Allisons.

    All in all a good Sunday Funday! It was a pleasure meeting you Kurt and Allison.

    That evening with so much Testarossa talk, I just had to pull out an episode of Miami Vice. An early episode with Crockett & Tubbs driving though late empty streets of Miami. The humid night air just shy of you breaking out in a sweat. In the background the track Brothers In Arms By Dire Straits...oh just toooo cool.

    I´m for vacation in thailand just now and here it is about 30° to 33° - not fahrenheit - celsius :) but I miss my red cars

    Shamile.... Did you know that Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits had a 1990 Rossa Crema Testarossa.

    Great to meet up with Shamile, first off, very friendly and fun guy. Liked him right away. Also very knowledgable. The Diablo sounds fantastic. Much deeper sound than the TR with a serious grunt at the high revs. Love it. A different blend than the Ferrari, which is much more of a whine. I'll see you again sometime when I'm back down again. I told Shamile he better get an exhaust on that TR between now and then! :)

    Dire straits good choice. And one of my favorite music videos when I was a little guy. Didn't a few of the band-members have TRs as well? :)

    I didn't know Mark had a TR. I know that he's quite the Ferrari collector. I was watching a show on classic Ferraris and a few were owned by him.

    Ohhh....I know he liked it. When I was going through the gears, him sinking into the seats with his hand grip tightening says it all lol
