I saw two new MC12s at Classic Coach today. They still had the white sticky plastic all over them. I asked because I thought these had stopped being made some time ago. I was tols that when they got them in they were almost black with dust from sitting. I guess they're in for the DOT/EPA stuff
and then on to the new owners. There was another in the shop getting some else done.

No Walter I did NOT get any serial numbers.

    Any pics?
I also saw an MC12 on the roads near Modena this summer, using a PROVA plate, maybe road testing before delivery.

Nope no pics. What, you want to see them in white plastic?
This is the first time that I noticed the wheel centerlocks are red on one side and blue on the other. It stood out with all that white plastic.

i have had my pearl white acura in my garage for 3 years almost 4 and they are not even close to being almost black. and i have other cars which run in there which probably collects sut from the exhaust. and i have woodworking tools in there, band saw, table saw, etc. btw i have been meaning to cover it up.

now, i am not calling you a liar or anything so dont take it like that. someone is bullsh!tting you though if they said that. unless they were in direct contact with exhaust constantly since they were mad or where in the bottom of a sip where a coal burner was or something of that nature. but i cant see them being almost black, just my 2cents.

A bird told me there were about a dozen US owners waiting for their MC-12s to come into the USA. Perhapse these are the first ones.

Try maybe the last ones, there have been MC12s in the US with owners for over a year.

Well I don't travel with a digital camera but I've always asked first and they've been nice to me. These were outside in front anyway so as long as I didn't open everything up and start photgraphing I doubt they would have minded anyway.

Some owners of the big buck cars don't want their cars photographed
that way especially if they're rare and valuable. I don't think MC12s necessarily fall into that category. Think 512S or something.

Gosh 2cents, keep saving. Perhaps he was exagerating a bit. Anyway they were dirty and it does sort of surprise me with something this expensive.

BTW, the window was open in one so I stuck my head in and sampled the new car smell.

I gotta be honest, it smelled like a new low end Acura or something. I guess there's not much leather if any in those things.

God this is a worthless thread why did I start it?
