Not to get to crazy but I have an interesting idea. The middle stripe stays on your second picture with the blue and blue stripe. but create stripes coming out of the side inlets that fade into the blue body color. I think that might look cool.
You might be right, the color combination may be a little busy. But I do like the stripe I have to say. I like the stripe that is only a slight difference in color than the rest of the body. The red stripe is to much. The subtle difference between the colors excentuates parts of the body I think.

Some of these two tones are really outstanding in a retro kind of way. If someone has the guts to get one, I think they might take off as a popular option. They remind me of a Ferrari made for Juan Peron that I saw on the cover of one of the Ferrari magazines, I believe it was Cavallino, a few years back. It was yellow and black as I remember, built in the 1950's. A handsome car. Steve
In another thread I found a picture of a 599 GTB behind an FXX in Maranello. If you look close you can see that the 599 is painted in twotone just like one of the pics I posted! Is it ordered by someone from FChat? Image Unavailable, Please Login

No! It's not! I took this pic in Maranello at Carozzeria Zanasi and post it in my thread "Pics from my trip to maranello in July 2006" in Showroom. Michaels FXX stands directly in front of this fxx. I think this one is manumas car with the white stripe in the middle. By Michaels car there is his logo "MS" on the chassis not "FXX". I tryed to post the pic from both FXX's but i have only 7,11MB to post pics. I tryed to delete older ones in other threads but it's not possible. And the 599 behind the FXX is not twotone-painted but the body is completely handpolished. Maybe for an exibithion or a car-show to show the aluminium-body!
