After a bit of a wait, I am pleased to announce that Ricambi has in stock some very very cool 360/430 tools:

    1. Interested in lowering your car? The proper lock-nut spanner is now available, manufactured by Hill Engineering and in stock at Ricambi. It's not fancy, but at almost 2 pounds each, they are extremely strong and properly suited for the job. If you're a shop doing aftermarket wheels and such, this would be a fantastic addition to the tool box and essential when 360 or 430 customers roll though the door.

    2. Not for the faint of heart, but shops and Challenge teams know that 360 gearboxes need to be dropped with alarming regularity. The F430 will probably be no different. But that upper bushing (186698) is a beyotch to remove... and if you spend the sad $1500+ for the OEM Ferrari tool, it might crumble after one or two boxes. The original threaded stud is a piece of crap, and the tool just isn't designed for longterm survival. Thanks to Hill Engineering (and Brian Crall's insistence on us getting this into the market!) the massively improved 95973219 (AV3219) is now available. It weighs a whopping 10#, and would really hurt if you drop it on your foot. :) Properly lubricate the threads prior to use, and this tool should last a lifetime.
