    Haunted Highway Hustle III

As usual, we're racing the weather to make one last trip into the mountains in October. Dress in layers, the weather down here says nothing about the weather up there. The last couple of years has seen us driving rain and enjoying brilliant sunshine once we got to town. What town? Why, Leavenworth of course. While Oktober fest is technically done by the time we get there, the town is usually still celebrating.

We'll meet at Lewis St Park in Monroe, head out on one of my favorite childhood roads and rejoin Hwy 2 in Sultan. We'll get off the beaten path where we can, but most of the trip will by on Hwy 2. However, it always works out well to approach Leavenworth from the North (lots of fun corners) so for those who didn't join on the first Haunted Highway Hustle, you're in for a surprise, and everyone, you know how much fun we had.

sounds like a fun time! are pcars invited? or is this drive for ferraris only? i've been on quite a few drives with our local nw group that consist of pcars, ferraris, and a few lambos. =)

It's open to everyone, with the only requirement being a love of driving.

This is what I live for. And for those interested, we drive throughout the winter, and in the 2 1/2 years I've been organizing these runs, we've had good driving weather nearly 75% of the time.
