TX CHL

Well I am taking the class again next weekend because I let my CHL expire in 2013. Kind sucks that I have to pay DPS the $70 fee though because I am not active duty yet still maintain a valid TX Peace Officers license but it is what it is while active duty only cost $20 or $25. When I took the class back in '07 the class was 8hrs, cost $150 and I believe the DPS license cost was $125-$150 so at least the class is only 4hrs and $75 now and the cost to DPS is only $70.

In 2016 since we will FINALLY have open carry the class hours and cost are going back up.
