I have heard that there are 2 tubi exhausts for the F355.

Apparently one is louder than the other and you can tell the difference between the two by the tips.

Could anyone shed light on which is which for me and how i can tell the difference?

    Thanks in advance

I guess they offer two options re mufflers: standard (though very loud) and NGT, which are louder and have 2 pipes instead of 4.
Then you can decat the system by using test pipes and change the headers as. there might be other options, but I am not too sure

In regards to the test pipes, where do these come from? Is it something that a shop makes to put on and replace the cats?

I asked Tubi this question. There is no NGT muffler for the 355. They did produce a GT muffler but this was designed to be used with the GT cats and GT manifolds which were all designed for a Michelloto car. None of these GT products will fit a normal 355.

Test pipes can be found through tubi as well as two different styles of mufflers. Most have a angled tip (normal) you can special order a rolled edge tip that is straight cut (these are the louder ones) the rolled edge tips are simillar to a challenge muffler. test pipes and a loud tubi are a very nice sound! another option if you have to meet a state inspection tailpipe test is hyper flow cats. also a great sound and very similar performance to test pipes.

There are 2 types of Tubi's available here at the local Ferrari dealer in Canada......both have 4 pipe exhaust tips however the 'Race Tubi' has much larger diameter exhaust tips (they fill in the exhaust opening in the bumper )and they stick out a bit further as well.
I have the race tubi installed on my car as well as stock cats and its much louder than the standard Tubi .
The standard Tubi and race tubi are both fit the 'standard' car (with or without cats) with no modifications.

I prefer my setup of Tubi and HyperFlow Cats. Give's you the best of both worlds and the setup gives you an incredible deceleration "burbling" sound. Hyperflow cats do not have the fuel smell that the test pipes have and offer all the sounds of angels screaming!

i agree. the tubi and hyper flow combo is perfect. a 96and up will have an engine light on with test pipes. i will show some pics of each of the tubi's however i will not have them for a few days. 355's have a habit of melting stock cats haven't seen any issues with the hyper flows yet.
