How are you gentlemen and extended families doing during this particularly heavy season?
Thanks for the concern Wax, In Malaysia(my homecountry) and Singapore, Thailand..not affected by the said typhoon(s). But our brothers in Phillippines and Taiwan and Hong Kong might have gotten some feel of the 'wind'... I'm in China and based in Dalian. But the last few weeks I'm in Shenzhen, just across Hong Kong and there were winds that actually put paid to most flights being cancelled out of Hong Kong's airport. Same situation in Shenzhen too and an elderly lady died when a signboard got blown over and hit her. That was 'Prapiroon' or God of rain in Thaispeak. The recent one, a couple of days ago, Sai Mai I think the name was, hit harder. Even though the 'phoons are supposed to 'slow down' once they hit land, the Sai Mai still carried with it 200kph or 120mph winds and that caused a lotta damage and I think about 120+ people were killed.
