http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjrEQaG5jPM watch for a white car about 3/4 through the vid that enters the vid at a junction on the top and drives against traffic to cross the junction and for a woman carrying bags about a 1/4 of the way through that nearly gets squeezed by a bike and car on the bottom junction
been to india, if you are a passenger it is one of the scariest things ever, especially if you haven't experienced it before........
It kinda reminds me of downtown Cairo, only Cairo has a few more unmarked lanes, way more traffic and way more pedestrians running accross the road.
whats odd though is always see less car accidents in india than here in the US.... been there for about 1month a yr for past 26yrs... its been holding true for a long ass time
I noticed the speeds are generally MUCH lower then over here, with much more vigilant driving (I mean you have to, otherwise it is suicide)
"Thank you for calling Dell Tech support, how can I help you?" This video helps explain so many questions.
with so many ppl... you have no choice to drive slower... xcpt on the new highways, you can move along nicely
That and the roads are not smooth enough to speed on. I remember driving on one 'motorway' and "oscillating" along at any normal motorway speed.
Based on the video, it looks like if you get in a wreck you just keep going. That's why you never see them.
It seems to be like Rome or Mexico City; traffic moves according to its own logic...crazy to the outsider, totally normal to the natives.
HAHAHAA.. werd! better get da fock out of da way if a truck is haulin ass down the road. but seriously, if you can drive there and still be sane, you can drive anywhere else in the world!
