Hi all Does anyone know if my euro 79 308GTB should have a tyre pressure sticker on it somewhere, I have done search, but info is for U.S. cars. If it did have a sticker when it left the factory, can someone perhaps take a photo, or if anyone has reproduced it could I please have the file? I have the original 14" wheels with 205 70 VR 14 wheels/tyres Regards
registered specialy to give you an answer. I have been busy with calculating tyre-pressure since 2007 and learned myself Excell to make spreadsheets for it. I use the formula the european tire-and car- manifacturers also use to determine the advice-pressures, and gives higher advices so saver then the American TRA formula, who are chaching it slowly to the European one. Last made I translated to English from my native speek Dutch ( so excuse me for mis-spellings and wrong terms). And is for re-calculating advice pressure when other then original tires are placed, but can also be used to check the original and see if you can use other pressures in sertain conditions. http://cid-a526e0eee092e6dc.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public/Recalculating%20tyre-pressure In this map take the newest version always and there are examples. From there you can navigate trough my complete public map from hotmail, to find other usefull spreadsheets. You probably dont have the normal-advice-pressures, only for maximum load, so the first part cant be used but the advices for what I call "Heavy use" and "vacation use" ar to be trusted if you fill in the right data. Even if they are lower then the american plancard, That has to stop at 26 psi, European ETRTO goes down to 21 psi and still is a save pressure then. If there are questions or you want me to calculate it, give me the asked data and I will use it as an example here.
