    Hi,
I wonder if anybody knows the recommended tyre pressures for Pirelli PZero Asimmetricos on a 348 (original wheels and tyre dimensions).

Thanks vary much for the input!
Are that officially recommended pressures, and in that case, where did you find them, or they your recommended pressures?
    Thanks,
    Lars:)

It depends on the driving characteristics desired, you can shift bias with tire pressure, slight over or under steer basically.
    Manual says 2.4 & 2.6.
I run 2.7 on both ends.
For a normal street car cruising operating at 2 on the 10 point performance envelope it makes zero difference.
There is not "secret" pressure that unlocks some mystery performance here.

    Hi again,
There are no recommended pressures for PZero Asimmetricos for the 348 in the workshop manual, that's why I wonder if anybody's got, or knows where to find, factory recommended pressures. I've contacted both Ferrari and Pirelli, but they haven't got an answer.

These are my own experiences, if anybody's interested or wants to compare notes: I first tried the same pressures as recommended for Bridgestone and Pirelli P700 for the 348, but the car felt nervous and wobbly, both on straight and winding roads. A tyre dealer told me PZero Asimmetricos have a pretty hard core and advised me to go down 0.3 kg, which means 2.2 front and 2.4 rear, which transformed the car. After a period I went down to 2.1 front and 2.3 rear, which I also liked. I could, however, feel a tendency to understeer in really tight curves. When speaking to a Ferrari workshop mechanic recently, I was surprised to get a suggestion to go down even further in pressure and not having more at the rear than at the front. I've now tested to 2.0 front and rear for a couple of sessions and I quite like it. The car feels "sticky" and neutral. I'm going to test to go up to 2.2 at the front and keep 2.0 at the rear, as is recommended for Asimmetricos on the 355 and 360, as soon as possible. FYI I'm only talking about driving as fast as possible on really winding country roads.

These are the recommended pressures in the workshop manuals for the 348, 355 and 360 (front/rear):
    348 215/50 17 255/45 17
    Bridgestone RE71:
    2,4 / 2,6
    Pirelli P700 Z
    2,4 / 2,6

    355 225/40 18 265/40 18
    Bridgestone Expedia S-01:
    2,5 / 2,2
    Michelin Pilot SX MXX3:
    1,9 / 2,1
    Good Year GS Fiorano:
    2,6 / 2,3
    Pirelli PZero:
    2,2 / 2,0

    360
    215/45 18 275/40 18
    Bridgestone Potenza SO2A:
    2,0 / 2,0
    Michelin Pilot Sport:
    1,8 / 1,9
Good Year Eagle F1 GS Fiorano:
    2,2 / 2,2
    Pirelli PZero:
    2,2 / 2,0

I suspect you need to check your passenger side rack bushing, a failed bushing ( they all fail, I repeat they all fail its not a Ferrari thing its a rack and pinion thing) it creates the the nervous effect you describe, I often hear people saying the 348 drives funny and has terrible steering. Its actually amazing and I would bet its due to failed bushing. It definitively was in my case, I replaced it and the cars is very different, steering is the opposite of nervous regardless of psi. 30 psi or 40 psi makes zero difference in nervous feeling. Before the rebuilt rack it felt unsafe.

Check tie rod and and ball joints too effect you describe does not sound right to me at least.

Thank you! Very interesting! I'll check it asap.
When you say: "Manual says 2.4 & 2.6" i suppose you mean Bridgestone and P700, not PZero Asimmetrico?
How come you run such a high pressure as 2.7 on both ends?
And, have you found that the car feels best with the same pressure front and rear?
    Thanks,
    Lars:)

Merci pour votre information! Mais je me demande que vous voulez dire le contraire – 2.5 arrière et 2.3 avant? Ferrari recommendent 2.6 arrière et 2.4 avant pour les Bridgestone.
    Merci,
    Lars:)
