Does anyone know where to locate tyres for a 1986 Testarossa.
    Fronts: 240/45 VR 415 TRX
    Rears: 280/45 VR 415 TRX

being a metric diameter it makes it dificult to locate as bridgestone or yokohama, hankook, pirelli, and god knows who else all look at you with that dumb look, and tyre people have never been renowned for high IQ, Michelin make em but do they still make em

You can still get Michelin metrix TRX tryes but they are eye wateringly expensive and only available from a limited range of sources. Most early TR owners get a new set of rims made that can take standard 16/17or18" tyres. Expect to pay around 1K per corner for Aussie made Simmons wheels with spline drive hubs plus tyres.

For tyres contact Carl Jones Automotive in Melbourne, and I'm sure he can help - number is in the phone book
