Can anyone point me in the correct direction to look for original size tyres for a 89 testa with original 16 inch wheels. Is it possible to add nice looking 18 inch wheels that do not need spacers?
depending where you are I would say Tirerack... www.tirerack.com would give the dunlops sport 8000 a shot.. very good, available and reasonably priced. Should you be in Europe your only chance is Michelin. The tires are not available thru normal channels but if you know the ways.... drop me a line if you need more info
Check WWW.TIRERACK.COM AND WWW.1010TIRES.COM I just threw on a set of Dunlop SP Sport 8000 on my '91 TR, and they are great after 2200 miles or so. And I got them from 1010tires.com.
