    Interesting.

As the name derives from an area in Spain, the Spanish pronunciation would be as a H in English.

Alternatively, the Italians, who do not have a j in their alphabet, pronounce the letter j as a Y in English.

And of course their are people who simply use the English j for pronunciation..

As an owner of a Jarama for the last 13 years, I accept all pronunciations.

The silver Jarama seems to be #10442

If i remember correct, it was original painted in grey, then repainted in orange, then repainted in silver and now carpet changed from black to red.

What a pity, over the years and owner changes the vehicle loses more and more its originality.

If I am wrong, please correct me

    I think you are wrong...

I do confirm you it is #10.442, this is my 4th Jarama, my 3rd GTS.

I didn't win the bidding when it was offered on Ebay back in 2007 by 2nd owner, but it was still in its original guise. Then the dealer who bought did a **** job to respray it in orange without spending the time to cure it from rust and sell it directly.

My friend Avery bought it and registered it in Wisconsin, 3rd owner, the title is still on his name.

The German speculator who bought it into a basket with Avery's Islero, did not register it.

Thus I do not considered him as an owner, but he sent it to the best marque specialists in Italy including Top Motors... just to capitalise his invesment, like all the other Bulls he bought and sold or failed to sell... like for instance the Countach #112.0262 exRod Stewart, targa Mardikian...

Who cares how many times a car can be resprayed in its past ? I know many bulls, including few Miura, already resprayed 3 to 4 times...

For instance, its body is fully restored without spare of cost (well documented) and resprayed back to its original Argento = Silver, so it is only its 3rd time.

About the interior, the original configuration was black interior with red carpet, exactly like my father's GTS #10.522.

When I saw it in the Artcurial auction sale catalog, I was determined to not miss it this time.

During my inspection; I noticed the carpet and the liner were changed into black... not original, the rest was ok.

Thus, I had these details corrected to have it matching original guise.

Instead of loosing, it earns in quality and matches to its original livery... many other details are corrected since.

More over, since I created the www.jaramaregistry.com this is the lowest original mileage I have ever recorded for a Jarama GTS, back in 2007 with 5.861 miles and now with 9.051 miles... all documented.

When I will collect it, yes I will register it and will become its 4th owner...
