Hello, ~ Every '91 - '96 Lamborghini Diablo I have seen (in person and print) always has their motorized seatbelts unattached. Question: How difficult is it to get in and out of a U.S. spec Diablo with the motorized seatbelt in place and the doors open? I understand that most, if not all Lamborghini Diablo owners attach-unattach the belts manually. I just wonder how easy or difficult it is when used as intended to meet U.S. passive restraints? Thanks ~ p.s. a photo of the door up and the belts attached to the "mouse" would be appreciated. Joe
The best thing to do...is just have them taken out completely and install the OEM of the shoulder belts that came on the older cars..you can buy the set's still, I think I have two left...and pretty easy to switch over..then take out the stupid sliding elecric mouse and track..
The cars are not hard to get in or out with the belt attached, but is it just so stupid. Who wants to wait for the stupid mouse when it is faster to attach/detach it ourselves? And who wants to deal with a stupid seat belt strap in one's face? Roy is right...just pull the crap out. It is just another example of our stupid government imposing stupidity on us. Let try to get a whole new government! The one we have isn't working, so vote all the incumbent bastards out!!!!
Actually not from an older car, the 'regular belts' are from the Canadian version of the Diablo, same model year(s).
