I think Tony should offer up a public apoligy for his comments on the show. Alot of people do not like him because of it and he will not have the fan following that a TUF winner should..

I think Sanchez will take it. This is quite interesting; http://mmajunkie.com/news/23945/ufc-implements-five-round-non-title-fights-for-all-future-main-events-evans-vs-davis-exempt.mma UFC implements five-round non-title fights for all future main events; Evans vs. Davis exempt by John Morgan on Jun 09, 2011 at 6:35 pm ET VANCOUVER, British Columbia Five-round non-title fights are officially making their way to the UFC. UFC president Dana White today told a small group of reporters that the promotion has decided that all main-event non-title bouts whether on pay-per-view, Spike TV or Versus will now be scheduled as five-rounders. However, the adjustment will not apply to any currently scheduled bouts, such as UFC 133's Rashad Evans vs. Phil Davis tilt, or UFC on Versus 5's Dan Hardy vs. Chris Lytle contest. "From this day forward, as we speak right here, right now today, every fight that is a main event that is not a title fight will be a five-round fight," White said following a UFC 131 pre-fight press conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. When immediately asked if that applied to Evans vs. Davis, White corrected himself. "Except that one," White said with a laugh. "It should be, but what I don't want to do to guys is fights that we've already made and they've signed the bout agreement, you're mentally training for a three-round fight. To come back and say, 'Oh, it's five rounds now,' you can't do that to a guy. "So all the fights that will be made from this day forward will be five rounds." In a special Q&A session in conjunction with April's UFC 129 event, White revealed UFC 131's originally scheduled main event of Brock Lesnar vs. Junior Dos Santos nearly took the honors of the promotion's first five-round non-title matchup. "I'm in to that," White said when asked by a fan about five-round non-title fights. "I like it. I think there's some fights that aren't title fights that are main events, and it ends up being three (rounds), and it should have been five. I'm a big fan of it, and we're working on that right now. "We were actually going to start it with Brock Lesnar and Junior Dos Santos, but we had already made the fight, so it's kind of hard to go back to those guys after you've already made the fight and say, 'You know what? This is going to be five (rounds) instead of three.'" And now it's done. White doesn't yet know who will be featured in the UFC's first five-round non-title fight, but potential main-eventers might want to start upping their cardio sessions because the change is coming. "From this day forward, any main-event fight that is signed after right now today will be five rounds instead of three," White said.
I think it's a good idea. This is entertainment, and I always get a bit let down that headliners end at 3 rounds. These guys are pro athletes and should be able to adjust their training easily enough. Makes for good PPV fights.
I guess i'm fine with it, It just doesn't make a championship fight as special. That's what I loved about the 15 rd. fights in boxing. The WBC, WBA & IBF were 15 and the Not so respected NABF, USBA and what ever else belts were 12 rounds. And the regulars fights were 10, 8, 6...
Oh, and as much as I like the person JDS is I really am liking CARWIN for this fight. I'd LOVE to see Carwin vs Cain next.
http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news;_ylt=Av4L2t8vRmwJzdq3KRZZTko9Eo14?slug=mmajunkie-Dana_White_UFC_flyweight_division Would rather see a Cruiser weight, along the 205-225 range... That would be an exciting class. Some of the smaller HW and bigger LHW could easily fill that class....
Pretty good card. Beltran/Rosa.....what a battle! Ridiculous exchanges, reminded me of Don Frye and that huge Asian guy, when they were just non-stop punching each other in the face. I didn't expect as much as Rosa gave, the guy is a warrior. Beautiful KO by Sam Stout. Man, that guy's standup is fun to watch. Nice win for the Cowboy. Did a great job staying away from Rocha's BJJ. Great leg kicks. Even though Maia lost, I was very impressed with his standup. The guy is improving notably every time he fights. I really thought he would have found a way to submit Munoz, but Munoz did a great job at avoiding that. Hat's off to Munoz, the guy is a class act, and he's an easy guy to like. Good job by KenFlo. Nunes looked damn good early on, like he had a chance to win it, yet KenFlo persisted, and took it over. Now they are talking title shot........I am on the fence if this is deserved after only 1 fight in the division. Who the heck would have ever imagined JDS/Carwin would go to a decision. Man, Carwin's face was hamburger! JDS' hands are so quick, and his TD defense is excellent. Unless you find a way to get him on the ground, and keep him there, you will have a very difficult time. I can't wait to see him fight Cain.
This boy looked really good Sat. night against Noons.... he keeps training he will have a bright future.... http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news;_ylt=AniId1SaZXdjCC_blVmDTNI9Eo14?slug=mmajunkie-Strikeforce_Masvidal_Noons
He did look good, I didn't expect that outcome over Noons. Nice win by Barnett, he looked quite good after not having fought in a while. I thought Werdum had his opportunity to submit Overeem, but just couldn't capitalize. Man, Overeem strikes with authority! I look forward to the next round........
Appeared that Werdum got winded fairly quickly, I thought his cardio would of been much better.. He did not look good at all...
Why that ref didn't take away a point(at least) after Werdum sat on his ass after the ref commanded him to get up was ridiculous. And how many times did he just sit there? Werdum should be embarrassed for begging AO to engage on the ground. Stop begging and get up off your ass! That was one of the worst fights I've watched in a while.
