Yeah, that's not going to happen. Conner pretty much calls his own shots. I wouldn't be surprised if Ferguson fights Khabib next, while Conner switches weight classes to fight for a belt , and then comes back to LW to fight the winner of Khabib/Ferguson.

Any and all hoopla by any fighter leading up to the fight should only be for promotional purposes. The second that the fight is over, all of that should be forgotten. Khabib took it all personally, and that's probably what led to him doing what he did after the fight. Very unprofessional. After both Conner/Diaz wars, they both paid respects to each other right after the fights - no bad blood - that's the way it should be done.

Sounds like MacGregor and his camp called Khabib fukking Muslim rat, and a terrorist, and insulted his family.

Is it any wonder Khabib did what he did?

 

It was I coach they were calling out I believe. His coach did indeed have ties to a terrorist group. So much so the government was involved. There is a bunch of info about it on the net..

 

His coach may be, but Khabib isn't. And degrading one's religion is deserving of a beatdown.

So good for Khabib for laying the smack down

 

I feel Khabib took it a drop too far, But I would have done the SAME thing. This was a "personal" fight.
The bus incident was unacceptable. Actually, that was more damaging, considering fighters got hurt physically and mentally (Rose).
