Not really---They are doing it for money, publicity and the names---Shamrock last fought May of 2008 and lost to Buzz Berry--Shamrock has lost his last 6 fights....Much as I don't like Kimbo, I think he may hurt Shamrock..

Randy Couture is back in the UFC-------Will fight Brock Lesnar in November for the HW title.....How the hell Lesnar gets a title fight so quick is beyond me....Seems the UFC is beginning to think about the big money and not the best for there fighters. Many others that deserve a title shot before Lesnar...

What do you guys think about the upcoming GSP vs Penn 2? Who's going to take it?

    I pick GSP.

A deal hasn't even been reached for the fight yet, has it? So far I think it is just talking between the 2 camps and Dana White..

The HW division is so thin that it doesn't surprise me to see Lesnar get a shot so quick. If he beats Randy, he'll still be an ass, but I'll give him his props.

I agree with most---I like Karo, but that is going to be a tough fight for him. Also Chuck better bring his A game because Sugar is no joke. I also would really like to see The Hammer beat Franklin

Damn.........I just read that Thiago Silva is injured, so the fight against Machida is a no-go. Also, Parisyan is injured, had to pull out of his fight as well. I was really looking forward to the Machida/Silva fight.

I was very anxious to see the Machida/Silva fight, much more so than Karo's fight. I used to be a fan of Karo's, but his career has really been going down hill, IMO.

Honestly, I thought Silva was going to brutalize Machida. I dislike Machida more than any other fighter.

Wow! That was quite the impersonation of a wet blanket that Chuck did.

I was never a fan of Evans. I find his fighting style to be quite boring. However, this fight was very impressive. There are a lot of fighters I'd now like to see him go against - Franklin, Anderson Silva, Rampage, Shogun, and of course Forrest. LHW is so rich in talent, so much better than the HWs.

It was a pretty good event, but I think there should be a title fight at every event. They have these events about once a month, and there are enough weight classes to make that happen.
