Jay Leno said something very interesting yesterday evening (I have no idea when the show originally aired, but it was last night, here)...

Now that EVERYONE has a cell phone... why aren't there any 'recent' photos of UFOs?

He's right... there are videos and photos of damn near everything else... what happened to the UFOs? Did they disappear?

Every week there are new UFO photos. They are just so common they arent news anymore.

Now, Im not saying they are 'aliens'. Im just saying there is no lack of recent pics of unidentified flying objects.

Funny there are millions and millions of close encounters and NOT ONE ALIEN has ever stepped up in front of a news camera anywhere in the world and said "Hey! We're here!"

Why is that? Are they all camera shy? Cat got their tongue? I mean, you just flew 100 milllion light years to get here using amazing technology and the best you can do is hide away in a forest and play peek a boo? Every single one?

Or could a better answer be because.... they just don't exist?

Nah... it's more interesting to throw logic away and believe in the boogey man and Easter Bunny.

Besides, who want's to screw the alien money machine as it sells books, movies, and check out lane tabloids.

I want to see him & Zahi Hawass sit across the table from each other & debate who built the Pyramids.

...if for no other reason that everytime each of them would say "pyramids" in their respective accents, I would probably laugh.

"I'm telling you, Zahi - AYYYliens built the peeeeeramydss"
"No, Erich - ancient Egyptians built the berameds!"

I think there is a lot of it going on, but it has become commonplace, so its not big news any longer.

OP neglects to mention that both of Jay's guests subsequently claimed, with straight faces and in detail, to have had personal encounters with UFOs.

One of the two was Christie Brinkley who, I might add, still looks amazing.

Christie Brinkley is an alien; you should know that already.

I wonder if Jay Leno knows the difference between a UFO and extraterrestrial craft?

Yeah, what's with the permanent little smile marks on the corners of her mouth. Agreed, she's a gorgeous lady, but that permasmile at her age now kinda freaks me out.

I'd have some UFO pictures but I've got no more room on my phone/camera due to all of my high-res bigfoot photos.

The trouble with cell phones is they shoot the same crappy photos as all the rest out there so it's a moot point.

With today's technology it shouldn't be that difficult to shoot clear high resolution images of a UFO somewhere in the world, even by remote automation.

It's not happening and I don't even bother looking at the programs on TV because they all have the same blurry crap images, objects that may or may not be, but impossible to tell because of distance or poor lighting, or photos that look staged.

I am open to the existence of "something" out there but until I see something thing that is definitive I don't even think about it anymore.
