I have just noticed that today, the A1 UK qualifying and race are now being shown on Sky one in the UK. Usually its a pay per view event on the sport 1 channel. But now the last race of the season is being shown as part of normal Sky viewing. Does anyone know why?

obviously I don't live in the UK, but could it by chance be due to the fact the season was shortened by one race with the cancellation of scheduled Mexico race?

I read elsewhere that Adam Carroll was a likely candidate for the new US F1 team.
