    Hi all, I'm trying to trace the above Dino for a friend who owned it 1976 to 78.
    It's a UK registered car.
    Any lead will be appreciated

    #05606 was registered as RPA 11L so it is possibly in close production sequence this car.

    #05572 (PKE 106L),#05610 (MHX 435L), #05620 (PMF 592L) and #05634 (XGU 123M) are the closest UK GTS models with all of these cars being January 1973 builds so that is my theory out the window.

    I have #05606 being supplied through Alan Brown Racing who appear to have supplied a total of 7 Dinos with #03304 possibly being the first and #06890 being the last. The car is now owned by F Chat member dudlow so he may be able to confirm the early details for you.

    The PA in the registration prefix denotes the car was registered in Guildford.

    Chris,

    RPA 45L was a 246 GT chassis #06080 and registered in April 73 so that narrows your search field down a bit.

    Could it by any chance had been registered RPA 47L instead, belonging to VIN 5876?

    Mathias,

    The chassis number is 05902.
    Dino Register has history up to 1986 with UK resident C. Joy-Morancho of London, SW7 (South Kensighton, Chelsea or Brompton)

    Thanks

    Chris

    Thanks for this, much appreciated.

    Just in case you have any info on 06890; the last one supplied to Alan Brown Racing, this is mine.

    Thanks

    Thanks, I'll check. The history on Dino Register for 05902 doesn't match up with owner between 76-78. The plot thickens(-;

    Hans,

    This one was owned by Prince Michael of Kent during the 1970s.
    I'm couldn't have possibly socialised with minor royalty. I have standards you know(-;

    Here is a video clip of license no. RPA 61L = VIN 5902. Video probably from Ferrari World Magazine, UK with shots from somewhere in Italy in 1980's (together with another 246GTS with license no. NPG 83L, for which I do not know the VIN no.).

    @Chris is that chassis number of 05902 definitely correct for the car you're looking for? i.e. it was RPA 61L?

    I'd just checked RPA 17L and it's recorded as a Renault 17 TL (first reg May 1973). I'm sure this would be a non-transferable plate with DVLA.
