    Andy, looks loved!

At the other end of the spectrum...I've just begun the stripping as part of complete restore; engine ready...see below.

(curious, are the light covers from Superformance?)

    Paul,

I'm not sure where they came from as they were on the car when i bought it. Having read other threads i think the superformance ones are are close to the right ones as you will get as they are the correct profile, but mine have two pins on the top of each headlight cover that locate in two small holes in the faring around the headlight. I can't see from the superformace website how they are fitted, give them a ring.

I read a thread on here recently that discussed headlight covers, but discussions seem to get bogged down in arguments about whether a dino should or should not have them. They were a UK distributor option and in my opinion look good. As i've got holes in the body work to fit them, i'll stick with them.

    Your car looks really smart.

I am about to undertake the stripping of my '71 gt as well. I am torn between media blasting (however about $2500 to do it) vs chemical stripping which would cost about $ 500 and I could do a lot of it myself. If you have any opinions I would be curious. Thanks

I had my Dino Soda blasted last year before paint.

Virtually no distortion and really easy clean up. Just white powder. Won’t hurt chrome/glass etc.
