    Hey guys,

I was looking through some of my old photo albums and I found 2 pics of a black Ultima GTR that was at the grand opening of 2F2F at the Colausis by Hwy 7! I remember the guy said that it was the only one in Canada and that he lives in Markham! Sorry about the picture quality...I had to take pictures of the Hardcopy film camera pics with my digi cam!

    Enojy,

    Lucas

Hey, i just saw this Ultima GTR thread now...i saw one at yorkdale i think about a year ago..probably was the same one that was at the colossus...it was at the curzons, and the employees there were snapping pics of them with the doors opened right by the entrance. When i first saw it, i saw it from the back and i hadn't ever seen it before...so i thought for a second, ONLY for a second..that it was a mclaren...and i slammed the breaks in shock....then when i rolled up to it i noticed it was something i'd never seen....Just thought i'd share that with u...

Yeah there was a black one for sale when I was at Mosport for the american lemans 2 years ago. Awesome car, but the guy later on during the drive home was a little weird. He was just cruising the back roads really slow, so then we tried to pass so we can let him be. Next thing you know he accelerates everytime we tried to pass him .............trying to prove something I guess. "The Ultima, GTI VR6 Eater????".....hmmm.....

    Very strange, but anyways.....

    Cool car.

You can either buy the complete car and add your own engine/gearbox, or buy all of the components and assemble it yourself.

I think the turnkey car with engine would be around $100k US, while the component car would be something more like $70k or so if you're using a crate motor.

In theory you could build one, with a pretty standard small-block, no suspension or brake upgrades, and do all of the work yourself for under $50k.
