I saw dyno sheets form a independent Ferrari tuner in England and the max power did not change much, but the torque curve was better--more torque at a lower rpm range. People will say the Gruppe M only makes a few more hp,10-15, than stock so it is hardly worth the price of $3000 dollars. What they don't realize is that by having a better torque curve in a car that is torque challenged like the F355, throttle response is much improved, and so is acceleration in the midrange 3500-6500rpm, where you are doing most of your driving. Only looking at max dyno hp figures only tell part of the story.

Thanks very much, that's great information. I finally found their air intake on the GruppeM website.

Did you buy your stuff directly from GruppeM or through a dealer? Their products look great; but so far in my emails, there's been a bit of a language barrier.

If you are talking to GruppeM in Japan, Mr. Ogose is fluent in english. I had a chat with him today. Make sure you talk to him.

I understand what your saying.... Just 3K.... for a little torque. I guess if I just wanted to be different....

Seriously, can you make this, with fully engineered diameters, steps and collector lengths? Do you have experience remapping the Motronic?

What kind of hp and torque changes would you expect?

I remember that Bob Watson did the back to back dyno of a F355 with the GruppeM and a stock car. He is a big reputation in England and he is not a GruppeM dealer so I think that the dyno is legit and corresponds to how the car feels when driven.

Hey, I didn't say I would sell them at that price ! Though it would be 'significantly' less. I am still in development of my 360 style to 355 version with 'high flow' cats, with provisions for all sensors & air pump. It will also have "flex" couplers for thermal expansion among other modern goodies . One could save money on it by using actual 360 headers on it too, for those who want heat shielding .
I will have to prove out horspower gains too !!
