:D lol bend over then brother...
Agreed, I'd love to hear what could possibly be carried over from the 348 to the Enzo. I really don't see it being anything more than a cosmetic disguise.
Not yet off the market for now waiting till spring, had 2 serious buyers, 4 newbs, 3 tire kickers and no less that 6 scammers lol Ha ha ha ya no doubt my man I would have glue my hat to my head to keep it from disintegrating from the wind force Yes it does
At this stage of the development Ferrari's two main concerns are: 1) What is the the cars performance and reliability like in real world conditions and not just on a perfect surface test track. 2) Make sure that absolutely no clues are given as to what the eventual design will look like. Ask yourself this question: Why does this prototype look nothing at all like the final production version?. Not a single panel of this car can be found on the Enzo. Another question would be: Why use body panels that replicate the look of a model you produced two generations previously?. The answer to this one is because it gives absolutely no clues whatsoever as to the the design concept. I think this Ferrari mule should answer your question best: http://motoroids.com/news/scoop-shots-2012-ferrari-gt-612-scaglietti-replacement.html/2 When it comes to hiding their future designs, Ferrari tend to not let vanity get the better of them!.
I don't think Ferrari built this car. It's a 348 street car thats been modified. where is the internal build number? Prototypes are not finished on the interior. It has A.C. Why use parts from cars that have been out of production for years? The list of mistakes is long.
Ummmm, no. Ferrari built this car, no doubt about it. It even has an official SN. http://www.mitorosso.com/index.php?p=strassenundsportwagen/datasheets/index18supercars/enzoferrariprototypem3.htm
If it is in fact real, it sure looks better than the Enzo. Should have stopped right there and hit "PRINT." Ferrari "screwed the pooch" on that one.
Can you imagine how difficult it would be to find parts for this car if anything goes wrong? I'd love to have it but a bastardized engine, multi- platform body, and no one else to lean on for help could be a true issue. It is hard enough to find parts for what we have without having a one of a kind. I hope whoever gets this has a bunch of time or a lot of spare coin for future repairs.
This car is indeed real and is definitely built by Ferrari. I have seen it in person in fact. When it was initially sold (as I understand it) the car was NEVER allowed to be licensed for street use at all. Having said that, I think the photos I took of it did have a license plate on the car - I can post them later if someone wants. I wondered how that happened. Unfortunately, I did not get to hear the car run. It definitely has the Enzo drivetrain which is the extent of the similarity between the two as this was the drivetrain mule, not the aerodynamics mule (or whatever you might call that version). PDG
no question this car was a 348 that they chopped, cut and rebuilt. looks kinda like a 348 gto would have in my mind!
Here ya go!!! I saw it at Spa Francorchamps in 2006 or so. They had a big Ferrari days there and I wandered up on it, but had no idea what it was or I would have gotten more photos of it. PDG Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't know what the rest of you are talking about that thing looks awesome in the pictures I could imagine in person.
