If I had the money, I would choose the Veyron, Vanquish, Enzo, Zonda, CCX, Murcielago, MC12, SLR, and Carrera GT. I chose them because they are really good cars. They are also the cars that I have been dreaming of owning!

I didn't choose the rest because I really don't like their styles.

Yeah i thought that might raise a few eyebrows its an SSC Aero which apparently is going to take the production car speed record on March 21st or so they hope.So it kind of deserves inclusion even though its a little ugly and slightly kit-carish.

I do love the 959, it's not as audacious as the current supercars, but I remember seeing posters of it and feeling a stirring in my pants. It still gets to me a bit, a lot more "smooth" than stuff that's out today.

It's sad that most of you are so limited in scope that you would pick cars made in the last half decade, with only a couple of obvious and predictable exceptions.

A good start be all means the only car I would have to disagree with would be the CLK GTR, almost everyone who's driven one reports that it handles like a truck. It suffers from over steer and is impossible on the street. I like the look but I don't think it lives up to it's expectation in real conditions. A track car at best with slicks is the only way I would want it.

did you take any of those pitures yourself? I know the owner of a couple of those cars.
There are some must haves there for the serious collector. i think an Aston is a must altho I prefer the older V8 Vantage, and find the Zagato rather ugly.
prefer a Diablo to a Murci
Countach yes for the icon that it is but wouldnt especially like to drive it much.
Miura, arguably best looking car ever.
Porsche GT, I love Porsche and this is the best car they have ever made.
Veyron, dont know really, nice to own the fastest car, and its a real engineering achievement, but I dont like its looks and I have seen one up close.
    Zonda definitely
    288GTO absolutely
F40, would love to get the opportunity to drive one, never heard a bad word about them
Enzo, dubious looks but everything else fantastic
    MC12, whats the point,
Lotus, great car and I have driven them but wouldnt own one.

Yeah i took all the pictures myself. I cant afford any of the cars at the moment, but i can afford to dream and attend allot of car events with my camera in tow.I think your list is a pretty good one, in a more realistic way.Cheers Alan

I'd take every single one of them, but my dream garage (and I'll limit myself to 5) would be:

    1. '62 Ferrari 250 GT SWB in Yellow
    2. '64 Ferrari 250 GTO in Blue
    3. Ferrari 430 Spyder in Rosso Red
    4. Pagani Zonda in Orange
    5. Bugatti Veyron in Black and Blue

Also, isn't the top speed of the Bugatti electronically limited? Granted, if the Aero does take the record, it's an incredible feat, but until the Bugatti is truly tested, it's still the ultimate in my mind.

The veyron top speed is most likely limited due to the limitation of the tires.

    4. Pagani Zonda
    5. Lamborghini LM002
    6. Ariel Atom
    7. Bentley Continental GTC
    8. Mercedes SLR McLaren
    3. Ferrari FXX

    Someday...

I'd take both Astons and both Bugattis, the Dauer 962, the 288 and the F-40, the XJ220, definitely the CCX, the Miura, the Esprit V8, the McLaren F1, the SLR, definitely the 959 as it's my favourite car of all time, actually give me all of the Porsches... except that CGT unless I can get it in another colour. I will take the Marlboro Syclone that's parked to the left of the Carrera GT though. The Saleen S7 and SSC Aero I'll take purely for the performance, and the Vector I'll also take, as it's another one of my all-time favorites. Basically, I like the cars with forced induction. The few naturally aspirated cars on the list get exemptions for being exceptionally good-looking, or otherwise unique. I almost want the Cizetsa for its uniqueness, but I think it's ugly.
