Here is a 1/4 scale 1957 Maserati 250F model built by an ex-General Motors patent attorney named Ron Phillips. His company 'Jeron' built around 15 of these in 1990, as well as 4 other GP cars in the series, and then went bankrupt in the mid 1990s. The 250F model is 41” long and weighs about 40lbs. The body is metal and the engine is operational - built from a modified remote helicopter engine (HB single cylinder 0.61 cid, 1.5hp @ 15 000 rpm). The model is comprised of 1500 parts and took 400 hours to assemble. The body is aluminum, and the car has a stainless steel tube chassis. Features include an adjustable independent front & rear suspension and hydraulic inboard disc brakes. The car works via remote control and can go up to speeds of 75 mph! Back in 1990 this model sold for US$17 500/ CAN$25 000. This is a real work of art.

We have just this one available right now, these rarely ever get offered for sale. Let me know if you are interested.
One photo is below, email for more. You can also see a stunning canvas print & 1/8 scale model of the 250F in the background.
