Im sure most of you are familiar with the programe "Ultimate:" on the Discovery network (In Canada). Yesterday they had the Ultimate MotorSport Crashes. It was very interesting, and I learned a lot about aerodynamis and downforce that I didnt know. They also covered the Senna incident, which was very sad to watch, but at the same time also incredibly interesting.

Did anyone else catch this? It may have been a re-run.

Probably, the bottoming out caused a hugh loss in downforce and then running out of room to correct. I haven't seen that show, but I have seen two others which give the same reason.

Yeah, your right. The same story, bottoming out of the car, going into a highspeed corner with no downforce. It was just really sad to see. Especially the lack of severity of the crash being able to cause death. Did they immediately introduce the wheel tethers right after this incident? You think they would have, but Im sure there was atleast one accident after Sennas where a lost wheel caused the death of a few spectators and a fire marshal.
